Hi, my name is Jarrod and i am 16 years old.
Since i was about 8, i've been cutting grass at home with Dad's 21 inch Webb cylinder mower for the front yard and a 14 inch Scott Bonnar model 45 for the rear yard.
When i turned about 10, i wanted a new mower for my birthday and Dad bought me a Scott Bonnar Diplomat off ebay for around $100.
After about 2 months of weekly use, Dad and i hated it- we thought it was a smart design having a rear catcher...but its not...this model had too many design faults.
It was cleaned up, blades reground and Dad and I sold it...dreadful mower.
It was sold through ebay to an older gentleman who had one, but wanted another!!!
This was how i started buying and selling cylinder mowers and through this....ended up buying and selling all sorts of power equipment!!
From then on Dad and I have been repairing/restoring - buying and selling power equipment!
At 15, i now have had about 40 cylinder mowers, restored 3 model 45s and have had some big buggas including a few 30inch Model 65s which i use occasionally around home but mostly use my 24 Inch model 65 but have also dealt with all sorts of other Power Equipment!!
Have done all mechanical repairs on the mowers and obviously, after not long, you know them back to front.
Me personally, i think the Scott Bonnars are by far the best cylinder mowers but the ATCOs are meant to be very nice also, but havent had much experience with them.
Decided to design a website so i can display more bigger images (ebay's small 12 is not enough!!)
